I've sent Gandi Support three messages regarding inordinately long delivery times for my mail forwarding account (on Tue, 29 Jul 2008; Wed, 06 Aug 2008; and Sat, 09 Aug 2008). I received the standard automated response to the first message, assigning reference number Ref1584649, yet I have heard *NOTHING* from a real person. The delay times that I am experiencing range from 12 hours to 2 ½ days! In each of my email messages I've enclosed message headers from some of the delayed emails to demonstrate the problem. I'm getting angrier and angrier that no one will even respond let alone fix the problem. Gandi has served me well for many years but maybe now is the time to start looking for a more interested and responsive service provider. Dick Schofield

I don't know if Gandi has corrected this problem or not -- they still have never responded to any of my email messages -- but over the last hour or so, I've received approximately 40 messages most 2 to 3 days old but two that were *5 days* old. Gandi finds time to tell us about the wonderful tee-shirts that are available (only to EU customers, by the way) and to herald plans for the grand opening of their UK office. I guess that takes away from supporting their long time customers. Dick Schofield near ex-Gandi customer

Richard, As explained in my mail, your message to support was actually filtered as spam, which explains why you did not receive an answer before today. Sorry about this. Regarding your mail issue : The problem comes from the fact that we have been blacklisted by Hotmail and Verizon. As usual in these cases we cannot do much but wait for the standard 72 hours for this blacklisting to end. On our side, we are currently working on improving our system so this does not happen again. Please accept our apologies about this, Best regards, Sam

And as I responded, Two weeks is UNACCEPTABLE. I check my spam folder daily to make sure there are no false positives.

I am aware of the blacklisting issue with hotmail. But that does not address my particular problem: mail being delayed from 11 hours to 5+ days within the Gandi mail system. I do not use hotmail. Edit: I just noticed that in your response here (as opposed to the email message you sent to me today) you changed "Hotmail" to "Hotmail and Verizon".

The rest of our email conversation will remain between you and me.
