Is there any way to configure the mail service so emails received are in my inbox but a copy is also automatically forwarded to an external email address (for instance during absence for vacations) so someone else can check if there is something urgent and act on it for instance? That would be a great feature to add. Currently if I set the redirection services, that cancels my inbox and I loose all my settings.... Let me know Thanks

It sounds like you need to configure your client (Thunderbird) and use IMAP protocol. These features you want are the default for IMAP. Check RFC 1064 for technical specifications!
