I currently have some applications hosted on a VPS whose ownership is of
another Gandi user.
Now this Gandi user would like to dismiss the VPS and I'd like to take over
it without the burden of redoing it from scratch.

Is there any chance to transfer VPS ownership (and payments as a
consequence) between two Gandi users (in case they both agree of course)?

Hello,

At the moment, we cannot offer an easy solution to transfer a virtual server
ownership from an account to another. In the futur, we will have a solution
but not today, sorry.

One not-so-easy solution is to create a new server in the new Gandi account
in parallel of the existing virtual server and move services and datas from
the existing one to the new one. Once all is transferred, you can modifiy
the DNS zone entry to point your URL to the new server. Then you will be
able to stop and destroy the 'old' virtual server and release the associated
share and ressources.
