I've been working with Sitemaker for a month and had quiet a bit of success,
but suffering some frustration trying to get Facebook login working
correctly. I have activated Facebook login (via "People", settings). After
this it asks for the valid Facebook API key and Facebook secret. I got as
far as to create the Facebook application but, Facebook have now stopped
doing API Key's and just have an application ID, and I am unable to link the
Facebook app to my Sitemaker site as sitemaker continues to recognize that
the API key is not long enough. Does Sitemaker need updating or is there a
fix for this? The application secret I have seems the correct format.

Ok I got an answer for this from Gandi Support. Have put the answer below if
anyone else has this problem!:

Sitemaker is not up-to-date and this is why facebook log in won't work. The
issue is being worked on but there is no release date for the update to
sitemaker.

Bit disappointed as the social widgets are outdated... hope to hear some
news in the near future about sitemaker updates as I'm paying for this...
