please can someone help me?  

I've just started using the sitemaker template, but I would like to change
the template I've chosen to another one.

Please, how do I do this???

I can't find any documentation anywhere that shows how to do this.

The site is not 'live'.  

I just want to change the the template to a different one.

Amazing this is not answered.

They said you can always change it, but I do not see any documentation on
doing so,

Since your question is so old, I'm guessing you figured this one out
eventually. I'm answering this just so others have a hope of finding the
info in the future.
I had the same concern. I wanted to know that I could start over if I chose
to. I emailed the support desk and they confirmed that all you do is delete
the website and start over. The number of times you use Sitemaker for the
same site is not limited.

Ouch...  so if you want to change the template after you have created
content (like refreshing the look after a while, or even just a change of
mind), then you have to start all over again from scratch - just to change a
template?
