Hi,

I think I made a bad edit to my dns zone file now all I'm getting is am
error 503 service not available. Also, the stats section of the instance
page has turned red which makes me think the instance is down. However the
status indicator is green and says OK.

I don't understand what's going on here. I rolled back the zone file to one
I know was working but the whole lot (2 domains) are not reachable.

Domains: http://eastlothianfm.co.uk and http://elfm.co

Any help possible?

Thanks.

** EDIT **

12 hours after a support request still no response. What is the meaning of
the green and red bars on the support page diagram?

To me it suggests that FULL SPEEDY SUPPORT is available from midnight
onwards but still no response.

You have an innovative model which interests me but you need to support the
people trying to use it. You cannot leave people hanging with a dead website
for so long when they don't understand what they have done wrong.

Works for me
Hi Paul,

Thanks for the feedback. The reason it works for you is that I moved my site
back to my previous host.

I put in a support request at about 9pm last Thursday (1st March). It's now
Sunday (4th March) about 9pm. I haven't heard anything from Gandi since the
1st.

I would seriously ask anyone thinking about using this product to think very
carefully before making the move. I was able to upload and get my site
working before this error happened but despite asking for help I have not
received a single message.

One of the main reasons I (tried) to move to Gandi was because they
advertise 24hr support. My previous host only offered support during UK
office hours. However, I asked for Gandi's help at 9pm 3 DAYS ago. I was
talking to my previous host on the phone 12 hours later.

Gandi also advertise that you only pay for the resource you use. How do they
measure this though?

As far as they are concerned I still have an account which I pre-payed for.
I have never been able to use it though. So will they refund the full amount
(as they should) or from the date they choose to respond to me. I did ask
for a refund on Friday but guess what? - No reply.

Gandi - You really need to change your tag line. BS is EXACTLY what your
support is.

J.
