Hi, I am in a bit of a panic as I have lost access to my gandi mailbox this morning. I run my own business so it's critical I get access to those mails. Here's what's happened: I decided I no longer wanted to use Sitemaker so I asked for my domain to be released back to Gandi. I now want to use Hostgator as they offer a cheaper hosting service and better support. I got a bit confused about the whole transfer business and didn't realise I could just point my DNS to hostgator's name servers. I then (stupidly) hit the transfer button above my domain in Gandi's control panel and changed the IPS tag. I looked up hostgator's IPS tag online. Apparently it's ENOM, but I now think that was wrong. This morning I have no access to my Gandi email through IMAP or webmail. When I run a WHOIS it shows my domain is registered with ENOM. I'm not sure what to do now. What I really want to do is transfer everything back to Gandi and then just redirect DNS to hostgator, but I don't know who I should be contacting to do that. Please feel free to roll your eyes and call me an idiot! Any help greatly appreciated!
