Domain General: Mail bounce from specific domain

You should be logged in to post new messages. Create an account.

Hi,

All mail to us from the domain eircom.ie is being bounced back to the
sender. We have not requested any grey or blacklisting of this domain -
this is legitimate business mail.

Here is the 'bounce' Error message received by sender:

The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a
specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails,
contact your system administrator.

            < mail4.eircom.ie #5.0.0 smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error
553-'5.7.1 < (UserNameDeleted)@eircom.ie>: Sender address rejected: Bad NS
record' (delivery attempts: 0)>

I've checked and the address used is correct - no typos. This was a direct
reply to a test mail sent by us, so the other domain receives our mail OK

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks
Rory

Did you get any answer to your query? We have one company which until last
week were receiving and sending emails fine but for some reason they have
been blocked. They are a legitimate client of ours. I don't know how to
solve this demon say its gandi and vice versa.

Thanks Linda

Hello Linda,

If you have the same error, you need to contact the administrator of the
sender's email and to set right settings.

Our mail's services do not accept emails if the mailserver is not
correctly set - like spammers'.

Soraya
