I changed my zone file, and now wonder when the zone files get reloaded. How long do I have to wait for my new zone info in your DNS to be updated? Tanks, Mi

Hi Mi, Every DNS setting as a TTL (time to live) setting on it, which is the amount of time the record states that it will valid for before it should be checked again. So when you make a change to your zone file, it means that servers referencing your record will generally wait 3 hours before updating themselves with the latest info. So after 3 hours servers start to update, but the new record will then cacade across the web as servers update themselves and each other. Generally DNS changes can take up to 72 hours, but are usually much quicker than this. I hope that helps, Joe

Currently the updates are done every 40 ~ 50 minutes. We'd like to reduce that interval, but that will take some time for us to do that :/
