Hello Claudius, We want to remain as impartial as possible, and so we really don't want to endorse one web host over another. I recomment, however that you go to google and type in some words like > ethical web host < or something of the sort. You will then get a nice listing of hosts to choose from. Otherwise, the best thing is to ask around among your friends or look in various online forums and magazines to see how the different web hosts compare with regards to your needs. Hope this helps!

A couple that I have used that have been fine: http://he.net/ Hurricane Electric or https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ Both have nice terms of service. Entry level pricing for Hurricane Electric is $9.95/month and provides robust webserver and e-mail service. Nearlyfreespeech.net is very low priced, but they only provide the webserver. Google's gmail service will actually handle your domain's e-mail for free if you want them to, and they provide pop3 and smtp access as well. It's all found under "google apps". I have not yet checked out gandi's hosting, but based on the excellence of their other services, I assume it would be a good choice, too.
