I'm not really sure what an EPP code is. After browsing Google a little bit, it appears an EPP code is asked when a costumer wants his domain name to be transfered from a registrar to an other registrar. Unless you want to leave Gandi as your registrar, you should not need an EPP code. Maybe Hostmonster does not accept the association of a hosted site by their hosting service and a domain name unless the domain name is managed by them. My suggestion, if you do not want to leave Gandi as your registrar, is to contact Hostmonster for more information about how to get your domain name bought elsewhere to work with your Hostmonster's hosted website. But a Gandi representative might have a better answer than mine. :-P

Hi Bruce, To find your EPP code: - In the "Domain Overview" page, click on your domain. - In "General Information" section, click on "Authorization key" :)
