I believe this can be fixed by running

postconf -e 'myhostname = mail.yourhost.TLD'

However, you'll need permissions to run it.  I wasn't able to su since
root is disabled, and my server account isn't on the sudo list.  Argh.

I also tried manually editing the file, again permissions.
