It sometimes takes 24-48 hours to get an answer to support email
messages. With other hosts in the past, I've had to contact them
immediately when a site went down or when there was an issue. 

I'm in the US, so a phone call would be quite expensive (if one was
offered). However, in emergencies, I would be willing to make a phone
call to talk to someone directly. Is there a phone number?

I would feel much more comfortable if you had a 24 hour live chat option
for your hosting customers. Is there something like this in the works?
