I see from the server description that the physical servers are 4 x dual core Opteron systems, for a total of 8 physical cores per computer. How are these cores mapped to CPUs in the virtual host? For example, if I have 1-8 slices allocated to my host, then I would expect inside the virtual machine I would only see 1 virtual CPU. Would I see 2 virtual CPUs if I increased my allocation to 9-16 slices?
