Connect to Mysql Database with Workbench

Hi,
I'd like to use Mysql Workbench to manage my databases instead of
PHPMyAdmin.
However I have no idea where to connect to the mysql server.

i tried
<mylogin>.admin.dc0.gpaas.net on port 3306
with root login without success.

Can anyone give me a hint?

Also is it possible to create a seperate API-key for just updating one
domain ?

Or do I need to create a seperate reseller account for this ? So I can have
a seperate API key ?

Because I want to be able to setup automatic updates of the DNSSEC keys, but
I don't want all my Gandi credentials stored on the machine doing the
updates if at all possible.

to alow friends to uploading a logo, a pic, etc...

Could you please give me the right destination folder ?

I have recently transferred my domains from GoDaddy to Gandi.. DNS got
messed up.. fixed it in Gandi.. and it has been 5 hours.. and the record
hasn't bee updated..

Donno what to do.. site is down and so is everything..Have mailed the
customer support several times.. seriously don't they have a real person I
can talk to .. are they kidding me, this is absolute bull shit..

Time until site is online?

I purchased the domain
divineprismflow.com ,and  hosting for it here at Gandi yesterday.
I was able to access the SFTP folders using filezilla, and i up-loaded the
files i wanted.
Yet when i attempt to view the page online i see this

It has been reserved on gandi.net and parked as unused.

I have a Gandi domain (parcosportdistrada.org) linked to a Gandi server,
done yesterday. 
But now if I go to parcosportdistrada.org I still see the Gandi page instead
of the files I uploaded with FileZilla.

What's wrong?

Accessing /private from code

Hello,
I have set up a drupal site which is functioning fine.

Drupal has a feature for controlling access to files. To do so I have to
give ''an existing local file system path for storing private files. It
should be writable by Drupal and not accessible over the web.''

I thought to use the /private directory for this (it sits outside the web
folder and is private) but don't know what path to use (just /private does
not work). How can I refer to my /private folder ? Maybe /srv/private or
something ?

Hi

I want to change my blogging platform that is served under a Gandi domain &
this will mean that even though I can move my existing posts over the URLs
will change. The platform I want to move to (Posterous) doesn't support
setting up alias URLs. Is there a way I can do this with my Gandi account so
that visitors hitting an older URL will get redirected to the new one for
the same post? I have few enough posts that it wouldn't be a big deal for me
to manage them individually.

lettres.

Upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04 to 10.04 and then to 12.04

There are known problems when upgrading from a Ubuntu 8.04 server to 10.04
and then to 12.04? 

I have two servers running 8.04 and I'm thinking on upgrade them. but I'm
not sure if the correct path is upgrading with dist-upgrade or installing a
new machine and then reattaching data disks.

Any advices?

webserver must own" certain app directories. From the SFTP client I can see
that the group/owner of most directories are 5000/5000, while a handful are

Simple Hosting vhost address recommends the format "www.domain.com". What is
the best method/convention to include also "domain.com" if it Gandi is the
registrar and using Gandi DNS?

If I set a domain forward from "domain.com" to "www.domain.com" using the
"direct (permanent)" option I get the warning:

Can a domain hosted by a Simple Hosting vhost accessed by IP address? If so
where do I find the IP address?

I added a domain name to my Simple Hosting hours ago. The domain registrar
is Gandi and is already configured to use Gandi DNS. I still can't see that
default "It works" page. Instead, I get other Gandi page "Ce nom de domaine
n'est pas disponible"

I registered a domain on 2nd May and the order status was in waiting -
Transaction blocked (waiting for validation by the bank), i got a
transaction alert confirmation from my bank that the money has gone through.

6 hours has passed by and the status is still the same, so i decided to
contact support team.

When i wrote to the support team about it, i got an automated email saying
my payment has been rejected by their payment gateway.

Assuming there might be some problem with my CC, i registered the same
domain using PayPal and still my order status is the same - Transaction
blocked (waiting for validation by the bank).

How much time does it takes for you people to get a domain in active mode ?
